Eastern New Mexico Bluegrass & Old Tyme Music Association (based in Tucumcari, NM in Quay County) is a club of musicians and listeners promoting bluegrass, old time country, Spanish heritige, and gospel music. Our programs are held every month at the Quay County Exhibit Hall (Fair Barn), on the 4th Saturday of every month at 7 pm. We have a potluck supper every quarter. Admission is free to all programs. Special events may have a donation request.

ENMB & OTMA is a nonprofit organization that was formed in 1995 by a group of musicians and listeners interested in preserving bluegrass and old time music. This organization was not formed to be professional but rather to give everyone who likes to play or sing a chance to perform in front of an audience. This club was also formed to be a help to our community and others who need assistance. We do this by doing benefits, concerts, or music programs. We have raised several thousand dollars by holding benefits with cake walks, auctions, music programs, etc. I believe we have held over ten benefits. The ENMB and OTMA has also provided a few college scholarships. I believe about 5 in number.

This organization stays solvent through membership fees, sponsorship fees, and donations from the community. We do not charge fees for our programs or any outside gigs we do. However, we do ask for donations to help us stay in business. Our gas is generally provided by the musicians who travel to the gigs. Our membership fees are $12 per year and sponsorship fees are $60 per year (membership included). Monthly newsletters are sent to our members and sponsors to keep them informed of all our activities.

Ending Song:.

I'll Fly Away.

It was written by Albert E. Brumley. Copyright 1932.

Bio's of a few of our muscians:.
